How it works
Show us the work nobody owns
Tell us which growth jobs keep slipping: the Google profile, the ads account, the website, the follow-up. We start from that list and your last 12 months of numbers.
Get a 90-day plan with roles and weeks
You get a written plan that names each role, each deliverable and the week it ships, plus the scorecard we'll report against. Costs are in writing before anything starts.
Start with one conversation
No web forms and no sales sequence. Call, text or email; you'll talk to a senior strategist.
Services

A fixed-scope look at your numbers, channels and accounts, ending in a 90-day plan that says who does what, in which week.
-
Search, ads and content execution
The recurring work that brings enquiries in: Google Business Profile, local search pages, paid search and useful content, shipped on a schedule.
-
Website and conversion work
Fix the pages and calls-to-action that leak enquiries, using the testing habits behind Conv.ca.
-
Lead handling and follow-up systems
Make sure every call, text and email gets answered, tracked and followed up, with consent records that respect CASL.
Most Ontario owners we speak with don't have a marketing problem so much as an ownership problem. The Google Business Profile was set up by a nephew, the ads account belongs to a former agency, the website was rebuilt in 2021 and hasn't been touched since, and nobody follows up the quote requests that arrive on a Friday. Ontario.Team exists to take ownership of those jobs, week after week, so the owner can run the business.
What an outsourced growth team actually is
An outsourced growth team is a set of roles, not a set of people you manage. It covers the jobs a growing company needs done every week (planning, search, paid ads, website changes, reporting and lead follow-up), on a fixed rhythm, against one written goal.
The practical difference from a freelancer or a single-channel agency is accountability for the whole path. A freelancer can build you a landing page. A growth team asks why the page exists, which search terms will send people to it, who answers the phone when they call, and whether those calls turned into revenue. If the answer to the last question is "we don't know", fixing that comes first.
The roles we cover:
| Role | What it owns | How often you see it |
|---|---|---|
| Growth lead (Ali Sedighi) | The plan, priorities, budget calls and your weekly check-in | Weekly |
| Search and local visibility | Google Business Profile, local pages, reviews process | Weekly tasks, monthly review |
| Paid acquisition | Google Ads and other paid channels, budgets, negative keywords | Weekly |
| Website and conversion | Page fixes, tests, speed, calls-to-action | Per sprint |
| Content | Guides, service pages and short updates that answer real buyer questions | Monthly calendar |
| Analytics and follow-up | Call tracking, lead logs, follow-up rules, the scorecard | Weekly scorecard |
You don't pay for all six at full intensity. Most clients start with two or three roles active and the rest on standby. The services page explains how to choose.
Why Ontario owners outsource instead of hiring
Hiring one marketer rarely solves the problem, because the work spans five or six skills. A good paid-search specialist is seldom also a good writer, a web developer and an analyst. When an owner hires one generalist, the generalist usually becomes very busy doing the two things they're good at while the rest drifts.
Here's a simple way to test the maths for your own business. Write down what one full-time marketing hire would cost you per year in salary, payroll costs, software and management time. Divide by 12. Then compare that monthly figure with a retainer that covers several roles at part-time intensity, with no recruiting, no notice periods and no single point of failure when someone leaves. Until the workload genuinely fills two or more full-time seats, the retainer often comes out ahead on both cost and coverage, but run the sum with your own figures rather than taking our word for it. Our guide on in-house versus outsourced growth teams walks through that calculation line by line.
How the work runs, week to week
Every engagement runs on the same three-part rhythm, which is why we describe ourselves as a team rather than a vendor.
- Monday plan. Ali confirms the week's priorities against the 90-day plan. Anything that changed (a slow month, a new location, a staffing gap) is reflected before work starts.
- Midweek shipping. Tasks go out by role: a page update, an ads change, a review request batch, a new guide. Each task has an owner and a due date.
- Friday scorecard. One page: enquiries by source, cost per enquiry, response times, what shipped and what slipped, and the single decision we need from you.
The scorecard is the heart of it. Our weekly growth scorecard guide shows the exact layout, so you can run one yourself even if you never hire us.
Proof, from our HVAC work
Ontario.Team is newly launched, so we won't pretend to have a shelf of Ontario case studies. What we can show you is what the same team method produced for heating companies. For HeatLand, a steady publishing rhythm produced 850+ SEO articles, and leads rose 300% in 6 months. CombiBoiler.ca reached 300% ROI with 300+ monthly leads. These are results from our HVAC work, and the results page explains which parts of the method transfer to other industries and which don't.
Who we are
Ontario.Team is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies. It is a Canadian business consulting service headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, and every engagement is led by Ali Sedighi, MBA in Technology Management, who has been building and running marketing operations since 2007. Serving Ontario from Vancouver works in your favour on one point: our day runs later than yours, so Friday-afternoon problems in Toronto still reach someone who's at their desk. Where we work in Ontario
We take on clients across the province. The markets we describe in most detail are Toronto, Ottawa, Peel Region, York Region, Halton and Waterloo Region and Guelph. Each page explains how buyers there behave and how we'd set up a growth team for a business serving that area. The areas overview covers the rest of Ontario.
Frequently asked questions
What is Ontario.Team?
Ontario.Team works as the outsourced growth team for established Ontario businesses. It is a Canadian consulting brand within the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, run from Vancouver, BC, and led by Ali Sedighi, MBA.
Who will actually do the work?
Ali Sedighi leads every engagement and is your point of contact. Production tasks are assigned by role (content, design, ads build-out, analytics), and the weekly scorecard shows which role owns each task and whether it shipped.
How is this different from hiring an agency?
An agency usually sells you a channel. A growth team takes ownership of a goal, decides which channels serve it, and reports on the goal itself. You still own every account, file and login.
What does it cost?
Monthly retainers run from $2,500 to $12,000 depending on how many roles you need covered. A fixed-scope growth audit runs from $3,500, and hourly consulting is $175 to $350. Prices are in Canadian dollars before tax.
Can you promise more leads?
No. Nobody honest can. We can show you the maths behind the plan, results from our HVAC work, and exactly how every number on your scorecard will be measured.
Do you only work in Toronto?
No. We work with owners anywhere in Ontario. The area pages cover Toronto, Ottawa, Peel, York, Halton and Waterloo Region in detail, and we take on work elsewhere in the province too.
